Congratulations to Toby Flood, Tom Rees and Dave Wilson who have been named in Martin Johnson's Senior Elite Player squad for the 2009/10 season. Gloucester duo Nick Wood and Luke Narraway have also been named in the Saxons squad.

Congratulations to Glasgow Warriors and Scotland centre Max Evans who has won the Magners League Player of the Season Award. Max has been rewarded for his excellent displays for Glasgow which lead to a run in the Scotland team during the 6 Nations. The award was voted for by a Scottish rugby media panel.

Ryan Lamb, who has been described as "one of the brightest talents in the English game", has signed for London Irish and will join the club for pre-season training in July. The 23 year-old fly half joins from Gloucester on a two year contract that will keep him with the Exiles until the end of the 2010/11 season.

England and Wasps openside Tom Rees has signed a three year contract with sports nutrition brand Maximuscle. Phoenix have brokered a deal that will see Tom be the face of Maximuscle until 2011. Maximuscle are market leaders in sports nutrition and their products are used by proffessional rugby players around the world.

Congratulations to Max Evans who has been named in the Scotland 22 for this weekend's international against Canada. Max has been in and around the senior squad since the summer but it was his scintillating performance for Scotland A in Friday night's demolition of Georgia that ultimately got him the nod. Max, who covers both centre and wing, will be hoping to make an impact from the bench in what is a must win game for Scotland.
